The brand name that is synonmous to Luxury Cruising is “Cunard”.  Cunard began the tradition of Luxury Cruising in 1840 and today boasts one of the youngest fleets.  The most famous ships, of the Cunard Cruise Lines, are the Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and the Queen Elizabeth.  The latest edition, to the fleet, was the introduction of the Queen Elizabeth in October 2010.

Accommodations

Expect to be served on Wedgewood China as well as Waterford Crystal.  Their menus wonderfully combine different flavors, ingredients and textures to thoroughly enhance your dining pleasure.  Dinner Entrees have included Lobster Newberg with Truffle Scented Pilaf Rice, Beef Wellington with Pommes Dauphine and Perigourdine Sauce.  Desserts are a fabulous way to top off your dining with samples of White Chocolate Soufflé and Praline Sauce.

Leisure and Entertainment

Daytime activities can include state of the art Spa Facilites, relaxing and enjoying a book from the ships library.  Enjoying an evening of dancing at one of the Royal Night Theme Balls.  Guest attire typically include cloaks and caps or velvet evening gowns. Dancing under the stars is another favorite of quests!  If you’re not up for dancing how about attending a stunning musical or Shakespearean Classic in the Royal Court Theatre produced by the resident Queen Elizabeth Theatre Company.
